Professeur de basson au conservatoire d'Amiens, Jean-Paul Blandinières a passé dix années à l'Orchestre de Picardie et ne compte plus ses participations à des orchestres parisiens. Il intègre l'Orchestre départemental en 1996 comme chef de pupitre des bassons.

Michel Gamblin, chef de pupitre des clarinettes

Quand Michel Gamblin est entré à la Société Philharmonique de Beauvais, devenue l'Orchestre Philharmonique de l'Oise, il n'avait que 16 ans, c'était à la fin des années 40. Aujourd'hui, à 81 ans, il est toujours fidèle et tient le pupitre des clarinettes. Professeur à l'école nationale de musique de Beauvais, directeur de l'Orchestre d'Harmonie de cette même ville, créateur de l'ensemble de clarinettes Octave V Clarinet Capriccio avec lequel il joue toujours, Michel Gamblin voue une véritable passion à son instrument et se souvient encore avec émotion avoir joué avec la célèbre Lily Laskine dans les années 70 au théâtre de Beauvais. « On devait jouer le Septuor de Ravel et à la fin, elle a dit : “il est bien le petit clarinettiste, il n'a fait aucune faute”. Elle était toute contente, virevoltante. »

Patrice Valognes, chief oboe speaker



Patrice Valognes, oboe chief, has taught in several conservatories and music schools in Oise and Lower Normandy. In 1994, he participated in a festival in Nyons (Drôme) where Thierry Pélicant conducted a symphony he had composed. The meeting between the two men led to the arrival of Patrice Valognes at the head of the oboes in the Oise Orchestra.
